Traditional Gallipoli Houses

Exploring Gallipoli (Gelibolu) on foot will be a priceless experience. Be sure to walk through the Karamanlar area, one of Gallipoli's old quarters, known locally as the "lower neighbourhood" (aşağı mahalle). Here, in the narrow streets, you will hear the tiny houses calling out to you: "I have a story to tell." These are old Gallipoli houses that have survived unaltered.
